Last year, I was having a lot of dizzy spells., and after a doctor visit learned that it was probably due to being dehydrated. Apparently, drinking a cup of coffee in the morning, a Coke at lunchtime and tea with dinner, was not hydrating. I immediately decided I needed a lifestyle change! I still have my morning cup of coffee, because I honestly couldn’t function otherwise, but the rest of the day you will find me with my water bottle. I have found that always having my water bottle with me reminds me to keep drinking!
Nalgene recently sent me over some of the products to try out, and I have not been disappointed. I knew the Nalgene name from years of working in the lab, but had never tried out their lifestyle products.
I received water bottles of different shapes and sizes for my family and I, along with some storage containers. My favorite feature is that everything is dishwasher safe, which is a necessity for items that I send to school with the boys. I also love the fact that the lids are interchangable on most of their water bottles, which keeps me from playing the matching game. The kids’ designs on the bottles are cute and fun and they can even add their own style with stickers. Blake has used his water bottles for the last two weeks, with multiple washings, and they show no signs of wear and tear. I like knowing that they are drinking water throughout the day, especially in this New Orleans heat.
The storage containers recently took a trip with me to Atlanta, through the airport and all, and survived just fine. I loved that I had my snacks with me while traveling and that there were no cracks in the containers or smashed, crumby snacks to eat.
Overall, I have been very pleased with the products I received and would recommend to any family. It makes being on-the-go and staying healthy and hydrated super easy.
