If I had a dollar for every time that I have sent Wyatt back into the bathroom to brush his teeth longer, I would be rich! It seems like his mind has its own clock and let me tell you, it is not the time the rest of us use! Thanks to a spiffy package from Arm and Hammer last week, including Tooth Tunes, this issue has become a thing of the past.
Tooth Tunes is the musical toothbrush that keeps kids brushing for the recommended two minutes, by using their Music in Your Mouth technology, which streams sound vibrations from the bristles of the toothbrush through the teeth, allowing kids to hear music while they brush.
Arm & Hammer sent my boys each their own Tooth Tunes to try out. Both kids were super excited when these arrived and started pressing buttons to hear their songs before we could even get the brushes out of the plastic case. They then took off to the bathroom and started brushing, and this has continued every time I say it is time to brush teeth for the last week!
Blake has a Tooth Tune Jr., which plays Kidz Bop version of “Party in the U.S.A”. Wyatt’s Tooth Tune plays “Tonight, Tonight”. Here is a video of them rockin’ out while they brush teeth:
Overall, we have been very happy with this product. It not only teaches them proper hygiene, but they enjoy brushing their teeth now! I think that their next toothbrushes will have to be Tooth Tunes!
Tooth Tunes come in a variety of song options, including One Direction, Black Eye Peas, Taio Cruz and more! Tooth Tunes Jr. features Kidz Bop songs and are recommended for kids ages 3-6. These toothbrushes can be purchased at Wal-Mart, CVS, Target and more. Tooth Tunes retail for around $10.
