Breakfast is a whirlwind at my house. Actually, truth be told, the whole morning is a blur. The kids wake up about 40 minutes before we must be at the bus stop, which means that breakfast must be a quick fix. So, when I heard about Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls, I was interested to learn more!
Here is some information about Tyson from their site: More than 70 years have passed since John Tyson drove his battered truck to Chicago to deliver a load of 500 Arkansas chickens. Tyson heard that chickens were bringing a better price in northern markets, so he cashed in his savings and borrowed the rest of the money he needed to finance the trip. He sold the birds for a profit of $235, $220 of which he wired home to pay on his debts and buy another load of birds. Out of that trip sprung the foundations of a company that would revolutionize the poultry industry. We invite you to walk through time and discover how the world’s largest poultry company rose out of the soil of Northwest Arkansas.
We found the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls in the Sausage Variety at our local Sams Club. The bread bowl is filled with eggs, cheese, and sausage. They come packaged with two bread bowls in each serving. You pop them in the microwave for around 2 minutes, let cool and you are ready to go.
Wyatt was a huge fan! I love that they are a low sugar option for breakfast and he can eat them in the car without making a crumby mess!
What is better than finding a great breakfast option for your kids, that they actually love eating? Finding one that gives back to the community! KNOW Hunger is Tyson Foods hunger relief effort, where they help people understand the challenges of food insecurity and encourage them to fight this battle in their own communities!
I am blessed that my kids have never had to worry if we would have food on the table, but I try to teach them the importance of helping others in need. To support KNOW Hunger, we bought an extra box of Tyson Bread Bowls for a friend of mine that fosters kids. She has four boys to feed, before heading to work, which can get really crazy. Her three oldest boys, her youngest is not able to eat table food just yet, really liked the bread bowls. And, mom was grateful for the help with breakfast, even if the box only lasted two mornings!

You know, it hadn’t even occurred to me that these were great for not making a mess in the car. (Said the girl with a car floor full of biscuit crumbs…) ;)

I’ve seen these quite a bit lately but haven’t gotten around to trying them. I think what they’re doing to help hunger is commendable
