NOMA has provided my family with a membership to enjoy their facilities. All opinions stated are my own.
It has been awhile since our last adventure at NOMA. I had taken the kids to their Story Quest, which was a huge hit, and you can read all about it here. Of course, I had pictured us making multiple trips to the museum by now, but it has just not happened! I am hoping with football season behind us, I will have more time on the weekends to make this happen, and since I just got their calendar for the next three months, I am determined!
Here is a list of the events that I would love to make:
On select Saturday mornings, for the kids, they have a program called “Studio Kids”. Here is what this program entails: Each Saturday students will go on a safari in NOMA’s galleries to see how cultures all over the world represent animals. Each class will focus on a different medium so that participants will learn 2 and 3-dimensional techniques. These classes are limited to only 12 students and cost $25 for members.
Every Saturday morning, in the Sculpture Garden, they have Yoga from 8-9 am.
And, I really want to make to attend a Friday Night at NOMA. They have music, lectures, movies, and more!
