Sweaty feet are not a fun topic, but honestly, when you live in the south it is kind of unavoidable. Not only do my boys struggle with stinky, sweaty feet, but I also do when wearing my flats. Even with using disinfectant spray in our shoes, I find they still carry an odor, which means I need to find a way to omit the sweat. I was recently introduced to Carpe Lotion, which is powerful over-the-counter antiperspirant hand and foot lotion that is gentle enough for everyday use.
Carpe Lotion stops foot and hand perspiration at the source, the sweat glands. The crystallized active ingredient of Carpe serves as a sweatgland-level barrier to the sweat, thereby preventing it from reaching the surface.
This lotion works better is applied daily over a period of time. I did find it prevented my feet from sweating, but it did feel like I had a layer coating my feet. It was not uncomfortable, but just different. Once I got over that feeling, I was happy with the product. I like that it is lightly Eucalyptus scented, and not a strong scent.
Carpe Lotion is sold over-the-counter at CVS locations nationwide for $14.95, and is also available at CarpeLotion.com or Amazon.com. To stay social, be sure to follow Carpe on Facebook and Twitter.
