Marrying an LSU Football season ticket holder has taught me many things, especially about tailgating. And, tailgating in the south is an experience within itself. There is always plenty of food, family, fun and school spirit.
As you can see, we have the family part covered, so our next big thing is food. We usually all bring a couple of things and since we travel the farthest, we tend to bring snacks, such as chips, cookies, fruit, etc. With all of diet changes lately from eliminating artificial coloring, our tailgating favorites have also changed. Recently we were introduced to Beanitos, and they have quickly become a household and tailgating staple for us.
In case you haven’t heard of Beanitos, here is some information for you! Beanitos are the first all-natural bean-based chip that are made from super nutritious beans that have 6 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein grown right in them. They’re real food, full of crunchy flavor, free of preservatives, and made with only natural non-GMO ingredients. Not to mention they are certified gluten-free, certified Kosher, and certified low-glycemic among other things.
We received three different flavors of Beanitos to try and all three bags disappeared quickly! Our favorite were the Better Cheddar Pinto Bean Chips. And, the most important thing for my family is the lack of artificial colors or flavors! I have been able to find Beanitos at my local grocery and they have a store locator on their site for you to find Beanitos by you.
