Things are quickly heating up down here in New Orleans, and that means festival season is upon us!!  From Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, Strawberry Fest, Oyster Fest, and more, we really love our festivals.  This means being in the heat and humidity for the whole day, which means plenty of sweating is going on.  While I have been a Secret Deodorant user for years, I had never tried their Clinical Strength until recently, and now that I have it will be my go to for the hot summer months!

Secret-Deodorant-LogoSo, what makes Secret Clinical Strength different?  It is moisture activated, and formulated with odor neutralizing ingredients that release a fresh scent, and Secret Clinical Strength is proven to give you 4X the protection against stress sweat.  Secret Clinical helps protect against the three causes of sweat:  Heat, Activity, and especially Stress Sweat!  Stress Sweat is the worst for producing odors, because since it is produced from the apocrine gland, it contains bacteria.

Secret Clinical Strength is available in three varieties: NEW Clear Gel, NEW Invisible Solid, and Smooth Solid.  It also comes in four scent options:  Completely Clean, Powder Protection, Ooh-la-la Lavender, and Sport Fresh.

Since Wal-Mart is a one-stop-shop for all of your personal care needs, and they carry Secret Clinical Strength both in stores and online, I headed there to pick up my product.  I chose to try the Invisible Solid in the Powder Protection Scent.  I have been very pleased with this formulation.  It goes on smooth and dry, and doesn’t leave any white flakes.  Even in the above 80 temps that we have been having, I have not felt stinky or damp under the arms.  I really like the Powder Protection Scent, since it is light and fresh, without being over bearing.  The price is a little higher for the Clinical Strength than I usually pay for my regular Secret, but I think it is worth the price, at least for the summer months.

  38. I want to try either the Secret Clinical Smooth Solid or Invisible Solid Sport Fresh. I’m not sure my current deodorant offers 100% odor protection, let alone delivers.
