Blake is all Rock n’ Roll, with his influences currently being Owl City, Blue Man Group, Imagination Movers, and Queen. He is a musical little boy that enjoys watching music videos and even writing his own songs. So, I knew when I heard about PLAYMOBIL‘s new PopStars Stage Set, that it would be right up his alley.
Here is some information about the PLAYMOBIL PopStars! Stage:
- This MP3-compatible set allows young pop stars to belt out their favorite lyrics, drum up awesome beats, and wow crowds with radical guitar solos.
- Just hook up an MP3 player with the enclosed cable and choose your favorite chart topper.
- The set includes four figures, stage with flashing lights, drum set, two guitars with guitar stands, microphones, two preloaded tunes, built-in speakers, and other accessories.
- Recommended for ages 4-10
My family received a PLAYMOBIL PopStars! Stage to review. The boys were immediately interested in this toy, just by looking at the box. This toy took me around 20 minutes to assembly and apply stickers. Please note: This toy requires 4- AA Batteries, which are not included! Once assembled, the boys each picked their people and I plugged in the iPad for them to play. We had some static issues with using the iPod, but seemed to get a better sound with my iPad. Both boys really liked this toy and they are ages 5 and 9, so I would definitely agree with the age ratings. And, while there are many small pieces with this set, most of them snap and stay together well, so that you are not losing or stepping on them all the time. To see this toy in action, you can watch Blake walk you through in this short video.
To celebrate the release of the PopStars! Stage Set, PLAYMOBIL is launching an epic “Battle of the PLAYMOBIL PopStars!” contest where fans can vote for their favorite PLAYMOBIL PopStars! group. This contest will is running now and will end on November 15th 2013. To enter, visit popstars.playmobil.com, and after voting, you can also submit an applause-worthy name for the band you voted for. Two contestants who submit names that really “rock” will be chosen to receive a $500 shopping spree on www.playmobil.us.
