It’s a Musical Double Feature with Dora & Blue: #Giveaway

What is better than one musical?  Try two for the price of one!  And, Nickelodeon is delivering with their DVD double feature release, which they were nice enough to send me over a copy to review, Dora & Blue’s Clues Double Feature: Dora Musical School Days & Blue’s Big Musical Movie!

Here are the two movies, and their synopsis, which are included on this DVD:

Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Musical School Days-  Don’t miss a musical adventure to help Boots’ teacher get to school on time to greet her students with a song, learn new Spanish words, cheer up the Grumpy Old Troll and help Dora and Boots deliver mail!

Blue’s Clues: Blue’s Big Musical Movie-  Steve, Blue and all their friends are putting on a big backyard music show in their first ever feature length movie! Everyone will be there, including Blue’s brand-new neighbor, the new cat in town, Periwinkle. Steve and Blue really need preschoolers’ help to get the show underway by keeping a checklist, assembling the stage and costumes, writing a song with G-Clef (voiced by Ray Charles) and of course, playing Blue’s Clues to find Blue a singing partner. Even the shy Sidetable Drawer needs help getting into the act!

All the kids in our family have long loved Blue’s Big Musical Show and I think my sister and I can sing all the songs.  This is one of my favorite Blue episodes and Blake loves it as well.  While Dora is cute and I like that she is going back to school, I think Blue wins this musical showdown in our house!
