Let Your Kid’s Creativity Go Wild with Crayola Holiday Gifts: #Giveaway

One of our favorite family activities is to have coloring contests.  It is a fun way for all of us to gather round and even the little one is able to participate.  Now that the kids are getting older, it is so cool to see Wyatt enjoying art, especially drawing.  Crayola colors and markers are a must have for little artists, and they have a few new items this holiday season that are sure to spark creativity in your child.

Here are two new great products offered by Crayola this Holiday Season:

Crayola’s Digital Light DesignerFor the first time, kids can create with colored LEDs on a 360-degree domed drawing surface. Three different modes let kids create dynamic free-hand drawings, activate amazing animations and have hours of fun playing interactive drawing games. Using the digital light stylus, kids can select colors and line width to begin free-drawing anywhere on the domed surface. Extending the fun even more, the Digital Light Designer also comes with 8 different interactive games and activity apps!

Crayola’s Marker AirbrushWith Crayola’s new Marker Airbrush, kids can also feed their love for creating with markers, producing amazing airbrush effects on paper, fabrics, and windows, using their favorite Crayola Broadline Markers. The Marker Airbrush is kid-powered (no batteries needed!), and works with a simple hand pump. Simply attach any Crayola Broadline Marker (including Crayola Pipsqueak and Fabric Broadline markers!), pump it up, and spray away!

Crayola was nice enough to send my boys these two new products to try.  The first thing they tried was the Digital Light Designer.  Be prepared that this toy takes alot of batteries (2 AAA batteries and 4 D batteries), which are not included!  There is a small learning curve for this toy, but both boys really enjoy playing with it.  The boys have learned that this toy is best played with on a table, because it must be on a flat surface to work.  They like creating designs and saving them, but also playing the available games.  Here is Blake concentrating on his latest design:

The boys have been fighting over who will get to play with the Crayola Marker Airbrush Set first.  I have not let them open the box yet, because we have been really busy and I feel like it will take a little time to get them set up and it might be a little messy!  I did like that it comes with markers for paper and fabric, but can also be used with the Crayola Markers we already own.  I will probably let this be a toy just for big brother, because I am afraid of what Blake would look like after playing with this one.LOL  This toy is an automatic plus in my book, because it doesn’t use batteries!  I will come back and share Wyatt’s designs when we get time to try this one out.

The Digital Light Designer retails for $49.99 and is recommended for kids ages 6 and up.  The Marker Airbrush Set retails for $24.99 and is also recommended for kids ages 6 and up.  Both of these items are available online at the Crayola Store.
