School is officially out for my boys, which means summer!!!! Down here in New Orleans, it gets really hot, really fast, so we tend to bring the cooking outside the the summer months. Musselman’s was nice enough to send me over some Apple Butter and recipe cards to try. Since I was making ribs the other night, I decided to give the Honey Apple Butter Baked Beans a try. My boys were hesitant, since they are not used to mixed beans, but gave them a try. If I do make them again, I would stick to one variety of bean and add less cumin. Overall, the recipe was easy to follow and I had most of the ingredients on hand.
