Since being introduced to Guidecraft last month, I have become a huge fan of their products.  I love their manipulative toys, mostly because they are multiple skill builders, which make them great for little kids.  The second reason I love their products is because they are constructed of high quality materials.  My boys newest Guidecraft favorite is their Animal Train Sort and Match Game.

Here are the specifics of the Animal Train Sort and Match Game from Guidecraft’s site:  An award-winning educational tool for teaching color-matching, shape-matching and pattern-recognition in a fun, game-like setting. Animal Train Sort and Match includes six double-sided pattern cards, 43 animal and train pieces, a wooden storage case, and a self-propping board with pegs and metal backing to help guide the parts into place.

Guidecraft was nice enough to send my boys their Animal Train Sort and Match Game to review.  It was nice to have a toy that the boys could play with together.  Blake thought that it was magic since the pieces didn’t slide off when he picked up his board and Wyatt had fun putting all the animals on the train.  It was a great way for Wyatt to help Blake learn some new animals.  They shared so well, until it was time to pick up and they fought over which of their rooms it should be stored.LOL
