I have been on the lookout for some new breakfast options for Wyatt, and healthier would be great. His current favorite is Chocolate Cookie Dough Pop-Tarts, thanks to my sister. We are just starting to try out a few cereals and was thrilled when I learned that Kix had come out with a new honey flavor.
You read that right, the cereal that has been kid tested and mother approved since 1937, now has a sweet touch of honey. Honey Kix is a good source of fiber, calcium and vitamin D. It also contains 16 grams of whole grain per serving and has no artificial flavors or preservatives. I think that this makes it a great replacement for pop-tarts, but what will Wyatt think?
He thought they were quite yummy. I have yet to get him to eat it with milk, but he really enjoyed them as a snack straight out the box, which is the way my husband eats them. I
was lucky that Wyatt even got to try them after my husband ate half the box while watching TV one night.LOL
I would definitely purchase this product for my family. I have a feeling the Blake will enjoy Honey Kix as much as the other boys.
