The cold weather has finally hit us down here in New Orleans, well, at least for a few days! And, what better way to celebrate winter than snuggling up inside and watching Nickelodeon’s newest DVD release, Spongebob Squarepants: Spongebob’s Frozen Face-Off!  In Frozen Face-Off, while everyone in Bikini Bottom participates in a race to the South Pole, Plankton makes another attempt to get his hands on the secret formula and end the Krusty Krab’s fast-food supremacy for good. In addition to this epic battle, enjoy six other episodes from the current eighth season of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Here is a list of the episodes, and their synopsis, which are included on this DVD:

The Other PattyMr. Krabs and Plankton find a common enemy in the popular new “Flabby Patty” restaurant.

Sentimental SpongeSpongeBob has trouble throwing anything away when he realizes how many memories are attached to all his possessions.

Nickelodeon was nice enough to send my family a copy of SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob’s Frozen Face-Off to review. Both my boys get a kick out of SpongeBob, so we made sure this new DVD was in our car for our recent road trip. I think their favorite episode was definitely the Frozen Face-Off. I could just hear giggling from the back seat and can only imagine what SpongeBob was doing! They also talked about A Friendly Game, because they love miniature golf and wanted to build one at home. Thank goodness they forgot about that plan.

SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob’s Frozen Face-Off has a running time of 88 minutes and includes the special features -Fanboy and Chum Chum episodes: The Last Strawberry Fun Finger and Power Out and -T.U.F.F. Puppy episodes: Snappy Campers and Lucky Duck. This DVD retails for $16.99 and is available for purchase now from amazon.com.
