Survive Cold and Flu Season with Wet Ones: Review and Giveaway CLOSED

There is nothing worse than seeing your babies sick.  No matter how old they get, it breaks my heart when my boys don’t feel well.  To prevent my boys from catching colds and sharing with each other, we make sure wash our hands a bunch.  But, when we are away from home, this is not always as easy to do, unless you have learned, like me, to carry around Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes.  These little wipes are the perfect answer to keeping germs away, while you are away.

Here is some information about Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes from their site:  Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes actually clean up grubby and sticky hands. So when soap and water aren’t handy, grab Wet Ones Wipes to kill 99.99% of bacteria, wipe away grime, and get nice soft hands. Thanks to their Aloe formula, they won’t dry or irritate your skin like hand sanitizers can. And, they’re hypoallergenic.

Wet Ones was nice enough to send me a Wet Ones Survival Kit to review.  I was happy to stock up on a must have product for my house.  As you can imagine with two boys, we get some dirty fingers!  My favorite product is the on the go singles, which fit in my purse perfectly.  I keep the canister in my car and travel pack in the diaper bag.  This way we are never without a way to get clean and germ free.

Wet Ones come in three handy sizes: 40 count canister, 15 count travel pack, and 24 count individually wrapped singles.  They are also available in eithe Fresh Scent or Citrus smells.  Wet Ones can be purchased online at amazon.com.

  1. I learned most cold viruses are spread by contact with surfaces through “self-inoculation” when hands pick up cold viruses, and then touch the nose or eyes to start an infection. So don’t touch your face!

  2. I learned that we need to wash our hands and face regularly; when soap and water is not available we can use Wet Ones® wipes to kill 99.99% bacteria.

  3. I learned that you need to practice good hygiene for a week after a cold because cold viruses can be found in nasal secretions of children for 2 to 3 weeks after the onset of symptoms.

  4. Cold viruses can be found in nasal secretions of children for two to three weeks after the onset of symptoms.

  6. I learned that Colds typically run through classrooms, so keep an eye on your child’s friends and change plans, if needed.

  8. Thanks for the giveaway… cold viruses are spread by contact with surfaces through “self-inoculation” i.e. touching your nose or eyes can start an infection. Studies show you can decrease the incidence of infection by refraining from touching your face throughout the day…and washing your hands & face regularly.
